Ijal Mariachi is a bold visual artist whose relationship with drawing began as early as age 8—and has since evolved into a powerful tool of expression, exploration, and rebellion. His works are a vivid collision of pop art, contemporary surrealism, gender narratives, and emotional storytelling, brought to life through striking compositions and fearless color play.

Known for his signature style—where bright, flat color planes meet raw, stylized figures—Ijal constructs dreamlike universes where identity is fluid, symbols carry weight, and emotions are frozen in moments of tension and wonder. Each piece becomes a visual diary: personal, provocative, and unmistakably his.

In Ijal’s world, pink is power, surrealism is truth, and every face or figure holds a story—sometimes fractured, sometimes multiplied, often reflective of the layered inner lives we all carry. His characters are not just forms, but feelings; not just illustrations, but introspections.

Based in Indonesia, Ijal actively shares his work through art prints available across various retail platforms. He also brings his artistic voice into commercial and editorial spaces, contributing to campaigns, publications, and visual storytelling projects. His creative journey continues to expand through group exhibitions and collaborations with both local and international brands for a wide variety of clients including Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Indonesia, Jack Daniels, W Hotel, Plaga Wine, Slank, etc.
